My name is Criss Martin and I’m a software engineer from the Atlanta area. I’ve been programming professionally for over 15 years primarily using C# with sprinkles of JavaScript, SQL, and C++. My experience spans from start up website front-end developer to hedge fund full-stack intranet developer to currently engineering the platform for casino slot machines.
My vision for this blog is to detail my life as a developer. Chronicling the problems I run into and how I solved them, but also (and most importantly) the issues I ran into trying to solve them. So many blog posts tell you exactly how to do something, but often omit the journey taken to gain that knowledge. For me, personally, I often learn much more when I fail than I do when I immediately succeed.
Detailing those failures for the whole world to see can only help right?!?
